Patriot Golf Days at the Hall of Fame
Aug. 30 - Sept. 2
The World Golf Hall of Fame is joining with the PGA of America in support of the seventh annual Patriot Golf Days, which benefit the Folds of Honor Foundation (www.FoldsofHonor.org). Folds of Honor provides post-secondary educational scholarships for children and spouses of military service men and women killed or disabled while serving. From Aug. 30 - Sept. 2, the World Golf Hall of Fame will match donations from visitors collected at the box office for Folds of Honor.
Smithsonian Museum Day
Receive free admission to the World Golf Hall of Fame & Museum on Saturday, Sept. 28 as part of Smithsonian Museum Day. Visitors must print their tickets in advance from the Smithsonian Museum Day website.

The World Golf Hall of Fame will celebrate the 2013 Presidents Cup with activities including a special scavenger hunt, a photo opportunity with the Hall's President’s Cup trophy and more.
Veterans Day/Month at the World Golf Hall of Fame
The World Golf Hall of Fame & Museum will celebrate Veterans Day with a special promotion. From Nov. 9-11, veterans and their dependents will receive free admission to the World Golf Hall of Fame. And from Nov. 9-30, all active duty military members and their dependents will also receive free admission. All guests to the Hall of Fame from Nov. 9-11 will be able to enjoy a special scavenger hunt highlighting golf's relationship with the military in the Museum.
Opening Night of St. Johns County Festival of Trees at World Golf Village
Nov. 30 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Join Santa and Mrs. Claus and performers from the St. Augustine Ballet for the ribbon-cutting ceremony that will mark the start of this year's event at the St. Johns County Convention Center. Families will enjoy viewing the display of holiday trees, music, face painters, decorating holiday cookies courtesy of the Renaissance World Golf Village Resort, and viewing a short performance from "The Nutcracker" by costumed dancers. The event is free and open to the public.
Slammin' Sam Beer Tasting featuring Sam Snead, Jr.
Dec. 7, 5-7 p.m.
Join Sam Snead, Jr. son of Hall of Fame member Sam Snead, for a special evening of storytelling and a tasting of Slammin' Sam, The Smoothest Beer in Golf. The evening is presented by Slammin' Sam Beer Company, maker of this craft-brewed American Lager from Stevens Point Brewery in Wisconsin. Sam Snead, Jr. will be on hand to tell stories about his famed father who captured seven major championships and an all-time record of 82 PGA TOUR titles. Light refreshments will be served in addition to the beer tasting and with additional beverages available for purchase. The event will take place in Shell Hall within the World Golf Hall of Fame. Admission is free, but registration is required in advance.
St. Johns County Festival of Trees at World Golf Village
Nov. 30 - Dec. 9
The eighth-annual Festival of Trees will take place at the St. Johns County Convention Center adjacent to the Renaissance Resort at World Golf Village. The event is free and open to the public, and showcases trees and wreaths decorated by businesses, organizations, families and friends from the community. Trees will be part of a silent auction and visitors will also be encouraged to fill out a ballot indicating the number of votes (in minimum $1 bids) they would like to cast for their favorite trees. Special opening night event on November 30 from 6 p.m.-8 p.m.. All net proceeds raised during the event will go directly to the United Way of St. Johns County and the St. Augustine Record's Empty Stocking Fund.
