BIG GAME PARTY

Big Game Party – Sunday, Feb. 5

Come tailgate in Hall of Fame style! On Super Sunday the World Golf Hall of Fame IMAX Theater will be offering the big experience on the big screen to all guests who reserve online in advance. Seating is free but space is limited. Guests may attend a pre-game tailgate party at Fairways Café (next to the IMAX Theater) with a traditional tailgate menu for purchase, along with a variety of beverages to take into the big game. All Fairways tailgaters will receive a wristband for priority seating in the IMAX Theater for the game. The tailgate menu will be available from 4-5:30 p.m. The event moves to the IMAX theater lobby just before kickoff so come early and join the tailgate fun.

Moon Over the Tower

Moon Over the Tower – Feb. 18


Begin the evening at 5 p.m. by watching "Rescue 3D" in the World Golf Hall of Fame IMAX Theater and end with the sunset and moon rise over World Golf Village. When the film finishes, guests will be escorted up to the Hall of Fame's Tower, the highest point in St. Johns County, to view the sunset and moon rise over World Golf Village. Once in the Tower, beer, wine and light snacks will be served. Tickets are $15 for the general public and $10 for museum members and IMAX Annual Pass holders. President's weekend at WGHOF

President’s Weekend at the World Golf Hall of Fame

Feb. 17 – 20

Presidents George H.W. Bush and Dwight D. Eisenhower are members of the Hall of Fame. The Hall will be celebrating them along with many more of golf’s unique presidential connections. Guests can participate in a special scavenger hunt that enters them to win a Presidential Treatment Package at World Golf Village courtesy of the Renaissance Resort, Slammer & Squire and Spa Laterra (no purchase necessary to enter). A special photo opportunity with the Presidents Cup trophy will be available inside the Hall of Fame throughout the weekend. Active and retired military and veterans will receive $10 Hall of Fame admission and kids under 12 are free to the museum which includes a complimentary round on the putting course.

Double Dollar Feature Weekend

Dollar Double Feature Weekend at the IMAX Theater 

From Friday, Feb. 17 at 3 p.m., until the last show on Monday, Feb. 20, visitors can purchase admission to an IMAX documentary film and receive the second for an additional $1. Films include “Forces of Nature,” “Born To Be Wild 3D,” “Legends of Flight 3D” and “Rescue 3D.” Check www.WorldGolfImax.com for showtimes.

The 3D-CGI feature “Dr. Seuss' The Lorax” follows the journey of a boy as he searches for the one thing that will enable him to win the affection of the girl of his dreams.  Moon over the Tower – Monday, March 19

Test your short game skills on the World Golf Hall of Fame's 18-hole, natural green putting course at 6 p.m. before viewing the sunset and moon rise from the Hall's Tower. Guests will get a chance to putt for prizes. All skill levels are encouraged to participate! When the competition is complete, guests will be escorted to the Hall of Fame Tower to enjoy beer, wine and light snacks while watching the sunset and moon rise over World Golf Village. Tickets will be on sale Feb. 28 and are $15 for the general public and $10 for museum members and IMAX Annual Pass holders. WGHOF Putting Championship

World Golf Hall of Fame Putting Championship – March 10-11, 17-18 and 24

Put your putting skills to the test during the 9th annual World Golf Hall of Fame Putting Championship. Set on the Hall of Fame's 18-hole, natural grass putting course, competitors have a chance to compete for more than $10,000 in prizes, including golf rounds at area courses, gift certificates and tickets to THE PLAYERS. Qualifying rounds are March 10-11 and March 17-18. Tee times are 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. The finals are Sat., March 24. Tickets are $35 each for adults and $15 for kids 12 & under. Tournament entry includes a free lunch, one practice round, admission to the Hall of Fame and a gift bag.

Lionsgate's “The Hunger Games,” the first installment of the trilogy based on Suzanne Collins' bestselling novels, will be will have a limited, one-week engagement in IMAX

Master's Weekend

Masters Weekend at the Hall of Fame – April 8-10

Celebrate the Masters Tournament with a visit to the Hall of Fame to enjoy photo opportunities with the Hall’s Masters Trophy, go on a special scavenger hunt and watch the broadcast during regular Museum hours.

PLAYERS Championship Week

PLAYERS Championship Week at the Hall of Fame – May 8-13

Celebrate THE PLAYERS with a visit to the Hall of Fame. Riding into History

Riding into History – Saturday, May 19

The 14th Annual Riding Into History Concours d’Elegance will feature 300-400 antique, vintage, race and custom bikes from all over America. In addition to the Concours, the weekend events also include Charity Rides and a Historic Grand Marshall Historic Ride and Dinner featuring National Champion Racer and Motorcycle Hall of Famer Mitch Boehm.
