Selvaggi Named Director of Sales & Marketing Of The Renaissance Resort at World Golf Village

ST. AUGUSTINE, FL (May 2007) – Scott Selvaggi has been named director of sales & marketing for The Renaissance Resort at World Golf Village in St. Augustine, Florida. In this position, he is responsible for overseeing the sales and marketing efforts for the 301-room Northeast Florida resort. Together with the adjoining St. Johns County Convention Center and the adjacent World Golf Hall of Fame, the resort is the largest combination hotel and conference center between Atlanta and Orlando, with 86,000 square feet of meeting and event space.

Prior to joining the resort, Selvaggi served as director of sales & marketing for the Embassy Suites Hotel USF, a 247-suite hotel with 18,000 square feet of meeting space that is located near Busch Gardens in Tampa, Florida. Previous positions include serving as director of sales & marketing for the 333-room Hilton St. Petersburg Bayfront which had 33,000 square feet of meeting space, and as director of sales & marketing for Bristol Hotels & Resorts’ Holiday Inn in Tampa
