The Renaissance Resort at World Golf Village Hosting An Elegant Mother's Day BrunchST. AUGUSTINE, FL (April 2009) – The newly-renovated Renaissance Resort at World Golf Village, located within the lush 6,300-acre World Golf Village in St. Augustine, will offer an elegant Mother’s Day Brunch on Sunday, May 10, 2009, from 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. in its 500 South Restaurant. The cost is $36.95 for adults, $32.95 for seniors, $14.95 for children ages 7-12, and free for children ages 6 and under, according to Mark Schwantner, the resort’s general manager.
The elaborate Mother’s Day Brunch buffet will include such entrées as Broiled Red Snapper Topped with Sautéed Baby Shrimp with a Light Boursin Cream Sauce; Sweet and Sour Boneless Chicken Breast Presented over Oriental Vegetables and White Rice; Sautéed Veal Scaloppini served over Spinach with Wild Mushrooms and Shallot Port Wine Reduction; Slow Roasted Turkey with Plum BBQ Sauce; Garlic and Herb Crusted Prime Rib with Cabernet Au Jus and Horseradish Cream; and Stuffed Shells with Fresh Basil.
Additional offerings will include made-to-order Omelets; Waffles with an assortment of toppings; tropical fruits and cheeses; a Florida Raw Bar with Shrimp Cocktail, Sushi, and Smoked Salmon; salads; St. Augustine Chowder; and Roasted Vegetable Medley.
Dessert offerings will include Cheesecakes, Tortes, Pies, a Chocolate Fountain with Fresh Fruits, Banana’s Foster, and Strawberries Almondine served over Ice Cream.
In addition, there will be a Children’s Buffet with Mini Hamburgers, Popcorn Chicken Nuggets, Mousse and Puddings.
