The Renaissance Resort at World Golf Village Hosting “The Biggest Little Holiday Party” on Dec. 18th, Enabling Smaller Companies To Enjoy Big Party Festivities

ST. AUGUSTINE, FL (November 2010) – Owners and office managers of small businesses in Northeast Florida have a nice holiday party option this year, as The Renaissance Resort at World Golf Village in St. Augustine is hosting an event that will enable smaller companies’ employees to enjoy big party festivities. On Saturday, December 18, 2010, the resort will host “The Biggest Little Holiday Party In Town,” which is great for companies and organizations with 4 – 50 people. The party will feature a bountiful holiday dinner buffet, a DJ with dancing, and a cash bar. The party is being held from 7 p.m.-midnight in the resort’s elegant St. Augustine Ballroom, which will be beautifully decorated with holiday décor.

The party is $39.50 per person, which includes tax and gratuity. A special overnight “Take The Elevator Home” guest room rate of just $79 per room, per night is also available at the resort for those who attend the party.

“It will be a wonderful and very festive party that will enable smaller businesses to reward their employees for a job well done,” said Scott Selvaggi, director of sales & marketing for The Renaissance Resort at World Golf Village.

Guest rooms and suites feature new furniture, soft goods, window treatments, lighting, 37” flat-panel screen LCD HDTV televisions, and the Marriott JackPack, which provides complete connectivity to the guests for laptops, MP3 players, digital cameras, and video game players.

The rooms and suites feature a contemporary design with an Asian feel, which includes rich red bed coverings, crisp white linens, along with a color scheme of warm neutral gold. In-room offerings also include high-speed Internet access, two telephones with data ports, a wet bar and refrigerator, an in-room safe, and in-room coffee.

The resort also boasts a dramatically remodeled 10-story atrium lobby, which now has a Colonial/Asian theme with new furniture, carpeting and foliage, as well as a colorful new 7-story modern hanging sculpture that captures the wind and air elements, reminiscent of open Florida skies.

Offerings at The Renaissance Resort include two championship golf courses:  the popular Slammer & Squire (just steps from the resort), and the renowned King & Bear (co-designed by Arnold “The King” Palmer and Jack “The Bear” Nicklaus). Guests also have access to four additional golf courses within 15 minutes of the resort, for a total of 108 holes of golf.

Additional offerings at the resort include a sauna, pool, hot tub, and full-service concierge. Guests also are an easy walk to The World Golf Hall of Fame’s 18-hole putting course, a 132-yard Island Challenge Hole, an IMAX® Theater, and the Walk of Champions.
